Brian will be giving the Reyner Banham lecture at the University at Buffalo on Wed, March 3 at 5:30 pm
Reyner Banham Fellowship
Brian is the 2009-10 P. Reyner Banham Fellow at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Brian will be teaching graduate and undergratuate seminars and studios in Buffalo for the academic year. His research will focus on reestablishing instrumental links between architecture and the contemporary American city. Essential to this research is an investigation of the formless quality of the contemporary city, read as the product of a collision between avant-garde ambitions and mass-cultural desires.
